Silicone oil implantation for postoperative endophthalmitis

If complete vitrectomy has been achieved, there are certain advantages to implanting silicone oil in eyes with advanced postoperative (and especially with posttraumatic) endophthalmitis. This videofilm shows the techniques and outcomes of this still controversial operation.
