and posterior capsulorhexis in chronic cataract surgery endophthalmitis

Eleven eyes with chronic endophthalmitis following uncomplicated phacoemulsification
were managed by vitrectomy, partial capsulectomy, IOL retention and intravitreal
antibiotic injections. The visual outcome and the incidence of postoperative
inflammations are studied according to the microorganism type.
