Synopsis : rationale : to suppress the canvas for fibro(vascular) proliferation in severe diabetic retinopathy and in cases of anterior PVR or at risk for anterior PVR ; anatomy of the capsulozonular system and of the Wieger ligament ; parameters to use for dissection , according to the type of vitrectomy machine used ( peristaltic or Venturi pump) , in phakic and pseudophakic eyes .
