Cataract surgery before, during or after vitrectomy for
epimacular membrane. What is the best ?

These three options will be discussed. Results will be presented in a series of 180 eyes. Of these eyes, 120 were phakic before vitrectomy and had cataract surgery later. Timing of cataract surgery had no effect on final visual acuity.
