INTEREST OF SCLERAL WORK IN RETINAL DETACHMENT FAILURES AFTER ENDOCULAR SURGERY
Jean-Paul Amar
France

After many failures of endocular surgery, the only solution seems to be a retinotomy. Before that, associating a fold with an indentation can be done.
The importance of a shortening fold depends on the length of the intra-scleral course of the posterior point that holds the indentation.

Take- Home Message: Don't forget the scleral work despite the endocular surgery progress
