PRAGUE "City of hundred spires", "Heart of Europe", or "Golden Prague". These are only a few nicknames given to Prague. A crossroad, where many merchants, artists and scientists met since the Middle Ages. Prague Castle, built on top of a hill around 870 AD, overlooks the Vltava river and both the Old Town and the Lesser Town. The river is crossed by the famous Charles Bridge, built by Charles IV in the XIVth century. In 1526, the Habsbourg dynasty succeeded to the throne. Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor, was crowned the Czech King and Prague became the center of science and alchemy. Many famous scientists, such as astronomers Tycho de Brahe and Johannes Kepler, were attracted to Prague. A new city of renaissance culture was born. |

As Prague is geographically the centre of Europe where all the philosophic and artistic tendancies converged in the past, we had the idea to select a topic that we called "all the unconventional ways lead to Prague" allowing each of us to present his own unorthodox way of doing things. This is summarized in the title "My Way". Don’t miss this unique opportunity to present your unconventional technique of sclerotomy, your personal therapeutical combination, your new peeling instrument, your specific buckling indication, your trick avoiding drainage complications, your expertise in trying a new product or a new machine, your special office organization… all those things which are never presented at classical congresses because they are rejected by too traditionally thinking reviewers. For sure, each of us will go back home having learned one or two genius techniques to be employed the day after.
